Lightweight 6.9lb Crossbow for Mobile Hunters

The TenPoint Venom X weighs 6.9 pounds and measures 9.75 inches wide by 32.5 inches long, making it easy to carry on long stalks or in tight blinds. It launches arrows at 390 FPS for flat trajectories and hard-hitting energy. The package includes the ACUslide cocking and de-cocking system, Pro-View 400 scope, and Scope Struts for a complete, ready-to-hunt setup.

Upgrade from Heavier or Manual-Cocking Models

Hunters moving up from heavier crossbows or those requiring rope-cocking aids gain silent cocking and safe de-cocking without removing a loaded bolt. The 2-stage, zero-creep trigger with roller sear improves shot control over basic single-stage triggers. Scope Struts add a rigid optic mount that resists shifting better than standard rings, preserving zero through rough handling.

Consistent Accuracy During Extended Hunts

The ACUslide system allows quiet, controlled cocking and de-cocking all day without fatigue or noise that spooks game. Scope Struts maintain optic alignment shot after shot, preventing drift caused by vibration or impact. The Pro-View 400 scope provides calibrated aim points out to 70 yards, supporting reliable shot placement from a cold morning start through a late-afternoon sit.

Questions about this item

How wide and long is the crossbow for storage or case fit?

It measures 9.75 inches wide and 32.5 inches long, so a case or safe must accommodate at least those dimensions.

What is the correct sequence for cocking and de-cocking with the ACUslide, and what mistake should be avoided?

Engage the ACUslide handle, turn until the string latches, then remove the handle; to de-cock, keep the handle attached and reverse the crank — never fire the bow to unload it.

Which parts will need inspection or replacement over time on the Venom X?

The string, cables, ACUslide cord and scope lenses should be checked each season; replace the string and cables when fraying appears and the ACUslide cord if it shows abrasion.
