Rechargeable Pencil Sharpener 6-8mm

The tenwin XM8010 is a rechargeable electric pencil sharpener designed for 6-8mm graphite and coloured pencils. It suits students, teachers and office users who want a portable sharpening station without relying on disposable batteries or a permanent mains connection.

Compatibility check before ordering

Verify that the pencils you use fall within the 6-8mm diameter range. The sharpener requires a USB power source for recharging and ships with a USB cable; an AC adapter is not included. You must hold the pencil in place during the sharpening cycle.

Thermals, noise and power draw

A built-in 2000 mAh lithium battery provides up to 300 sharpenings per full charge. Recharging takes four hours over USB or two hours via an AC adapter. The motor sharpens a pencil in roughly 35 seconds and is rated for over 4,000 lifetime uses.

Questions about this item

Does the tenwin XM8010 come with everything needed to start sharpening, or is an AC adapter sold separately?

The package includes a USB charging cable, but the AC adapter is not included; you can charge via USB in four hours or use a separate AC adapter for a two-hour charge.

Which pencils does the XM8010 model actually sharpen — only standard graphite or coloured pencils too?

It sharpens both graphite and coloured pencils with a 6-8 mm diameter, covering standard No.2 pencils and most coloured pencils used in school or office work.

What does the 300-uses-per-charge figure mean for a classroom that sharpens dozens of pencils daily?

A full 2000 mAh charge lasts for roughly 300 sharpenings, so a busy classroom would need to recharge every few days depending on volume.
