Network cable for 10 Gbps links

This Tera Grand CAT7 patch cable carries 10 Gbps data rates at 600 MHz bandwidth. The 25 foot black cord suits home, office or campus networks that need reliable high-speed connections between modems, routers, switches and end devices. It replaces CAT5e or CAT6 runs without configuration changes.

Double shielded construction with gold contacts

Each twisted pair is wrapped in aluminium Mylar foil and the bundle is covered by a tinned copper braid with 85 percent coverage. The double shield cuts electromagnetic interference, radio-frequency interference and alien crosstalk. Fifty micron gold plating on the shielded RJ45 contact pins resists corrosion and maintains low-resistance connections over time.

Broad backward compatibility

The cable works with all CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6 and CAT6a applications, so existing patch panels, wall plates and equipment ports accept it directly. No adapters or software are required; the physical connectors and shielding deliver the stated performance as soon as the link is established.
