A five-port Gigabit desktop switch with fanless metal housing, 4 kV lightning protection and plug-and-play setup for silent home or office networking
The TEROW T1005GS is a desktop-sized unmanaged switch with five Gigabit RJ45 ports that auto-negotiate speed and support Auto MDI/MDIX. It targets home offices, small businesses, classrooms and temporary setups where silent, zero-configuration wired connectivity is needed. A fanless metal chassis keeps operation quiet in noise-sensitive rooms.
Replacing a legacy Fast Ethernet switch or a router with only four LAN ports adds 1000 Mb/s throughput per port and an extra connection without configuration. The jump is worth it when file transfers, IP cameras or cloud backups saturate 100 Mb/s links or when a fifth device needs a wired drop. It does not serve buyers who need managed features such as VLANs, QoS or link aggregation.
All five ports use RJ45 copper interfaces with a maximum segment length of 100 metres, so fibre uplinks or longer runs require separate media converters. The RTL8367S processor handles forwarding in hardware but offers no web, CLI or SNMP interface for traffic shaping or monitoring. Port independence prevents a single failure from disabling others, yet there is no redundancy protocol for critical paths.

The TEROW T1005GS measures 4*2*1 inch, making it a compact desktop unit that fits easily on a shelf or in a travel bag.
Connect the power adapter and plug Ethernet cables into the five RJ45 ports; the switch is unmanaged so no software setup is required — do not look for a configuration interface because there is none.
The fanless metal chassis requires no internal cleaning; each port has independent 4KV lightning protection and an auto-fuse that isolates a faulty port, so only a failed port would need attention.
