TerraWave Solutions

TerraWave Solutions M3020040O11207 698-960/1710-2700 MHz 2/4 dBi Omni Antenna

SKU CH-CEYX-YJ3R6

Outdoor omnidirectional antenna covering 698–960 and 1710–2700 MHz with 2/4 dBi gain and N Male connector

  • Dual-band coverage from 698-960 and 1710-2700 MHz
  • 2/4 dBi gain strengthens weak cellular signals
  • 50 W power handling supports high-output modems
  • Vertical polarisation with 2.5:1 max VSWR
  • N-Male connector fits most 3G/4G modems directly

Outdoor Omnidirectional Antenna

The TerraWave M3020040O11207 is an outdoor omnidirectional antenna built for 3G and 4G cellular modems. It connects via an N Male connector and includes wall and mast mounting hardware. Vertical polarisation suits fixed-site installations that need broad horizontal coverage.

Frequency Range and VSWR

The antenna operates across 698 to 960 MHz and 1710 to 2700 MHz with a maximum VSWR of 2.5:1. This ratio marks the practical limit for reflected power on the feed line. Performance degrades outside the stated bands or if the modem impedance drifts beyond the match.

Gain and Power Handling

Gain sits at 2 dBi on the lower band and 4 dBi on the upper band with a 50 W maximum power rating. This headroom covers typical modem output for stationary links. Installations requiring higher directivity or extended range will need a directional antenna instead.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 2 dBi or 4 dBi gain for my 4G setup?

The antenna provides 2 dBi gain on the 698–960 MHz band and 4 dBi on the 1710–2700 MHz band, so 4G on the higher band gets the higher figure.

What does the 50 W power rating mean when the antenna is mounted outside?

It is the maximum continuous RF power the antenna can handle; typical 3G and 4G modems transmit well below 50 W, so the rating is not a limiting factor.

How does the N Male connector affect the cable I can use?

The N Male connector on the antenna bottom mates with an N Female cable end, giving a weatherproof 50 Ω link with a maximum VSWR of 2.5:1 across both bands.
