Artisan Wall Clock with Moving Gears

The Gears Clock Italy Line is a 36 inch round wall clock built from wood with a multi-colour finish inspired by Amalfi coast tiles. Real moving gears create a hypnotic, living element on the wall. It suits buyers who want a decorative steampunk or vintage accent in living rooms, offices or entryways. This piece is not for shoppers needing an alarm, a digital display or a silent sweep movement.

Dimensions and Visual Presence

The clock measures 36 inches across, sitting within the 30 to 39 inch height range while the model name references a 24 inch dimension. Roman numerals mark the analog face. The large diameter fills a broad wall area and acts as a focal point. It does not meet the needs of buyers who require a compact clock under 9 inches wide or a smaller profile for narrow surfaces.

Power and Mounting

Operation relies on three AA batteries and the unit ships with a pre-installed hook on the upper back for simple hanging. No mains wiring or external power supply is involved. The battery-driven gear train produces audible mechanical motion. Buyers who want a completely silent quartz movement or a hard-wired installation should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 36 inch diameter dominate a shelf with smaller decor pieces?

At 36 inches wide the clock becomes the room’s focal point; place it on a clear wall so the moving gears have visual breathing room.

How do I verify the real moving gears are running correctly after hanging?

Insert three AA batteries, set the time, then watch the exposed gear train — it should rotate smoothly and continuously without hesitation.

What comes in the box and what must I supply?

The clock arrives fully assembled with a pre-installed hanging hook; you only need to provide three AA batteries.
