Vehicle mount for tablets and smartphones

The Joy Factory MagConnect MMU331 is a quick-connect vehicle mount built for high-vibration dashboards in utility, transport and government fleets. Its flexible base adheres to flat or slightly curved surfaces using industrial-grade 3M VHB adhesive or four screws. Spherical rubber ball joints hold the device steady while allowing precise angle adjustment for hands-free operation.

Adhesive or screw base with magnetic docking

The semi-permanent base installs with either the supplied 3M VHB adhesive or user-supplied screws, giving installers a choice without drilling if preferred. MagConnect magnetic technology lets any compatible case snap on and off in seconds, so the same tablet or smartphone can move between vehicles or be removed for handheld use without tools.

Vibration and shock certified mounting

The mount carries certified vibration and shock resistance, making it the deciding spec for dashboards that endure constant heavy-equipment vibration. Buyers who need a suction-cup or vent-clip solution, or who require a mount for non-MagConnect cases, should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 3M VHB adhesive or screw holes need replacement if the mount is moved to another vehicle?

The base uses industrial-grade 3M VHB adhesive or four screws for semi-permanent installation; moving it requires fresh adhesive or new screw holes in the new dashboard.

What stops the ball joints from loosening during constant high-vibration driving?

Certified vibration and shock resistance plus spherical rubber ball joints keep the tablet or smartphone stable under sustained heavy vibration.

How much heat does the mount itself add to a device left on the dash all day?

The mount has no electronics or power draw, so it adds no heat; only sunlight through the windshield warms the device.
