Included power supplies and cables

Every package contains a matching AC-to-DC adapter with a 150cm power cord and a 110cm output lead. The adapter dimensions vary by amperage: 75x45x30mm for 1A, 80x50x30mm for 2A, 110x485x30mm for 3A, 110x57x30mm for 5A, 125x50x30mm for 6A, 130x55x38mm for 8A and 160x65x38mm for 10A models.

Check connector polarity and current draw

Questions about this item

Will the 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm DC plug on each power supply need periodic replacement?

The 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm connector is a standard barrel jack; it only needs attention if the centre pin loosens or the cable sheath frays after extended use.

What limits continuous operation of the 12 V 10 A unit first?

The 120 W rating and passive enclosure mean thermal rise will throttle output before the 10 A current limit is reached.

How much heat and noise does a 12 V 5 A supply produce when running all day?

The 60 W unit relies on natural convection, so it runs silent and reaches a warm but safe surface temperature under full load.
