Training Lead Length Options

This long obedience recall lead comes in six fixed lengths: 15, 23, 33, 50 and 100 feet. It is built from PP and steel with a 3/4 inch wide nylon construction. The pack contains 100 identical black leads for professional trainers or multi-dog households. A D-shaped ring on the handle holds small items such as waste bags.

Installation And Common Issues

The lead requires no assembly; simply attach the steel clip to the dog's collar or harness. The dense machine stitching resists fraying during repeated use. The main limitation is that each unit is a single fixed length, so handlers needing adjustable distance must purchase multiple sizes. The steel clip can add weight for very small breeds.

Material And Handling Limits

The PP and steel construction handles wet conditions at the beach or during swimming sessions. The 3/4 inch width distributes pulling force across the hand. The fixed length prevents shortening the lead in tight spaces or around hazards. The 100-unit pack is designed for high-volume use rather than single-pet owners.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 3/4 inch wide leash and D-shaped handle ring are secure after first use?

Check that the high-density machine stitching shows no loose threads, the D-ring on the handle rotates freely, and the steel clip latches firmly to your dog's collar during a controlled recall test.

What does the 100-count pack contain and is a collar or harness included?

The box holds 100 black training leads in the single length you select — 6, 15, 23, 33, 50 or 100 feet — made from PP and steel; no collar, harness or additional accessories are supplied.

Which length — 6, 15, 23, 33, 50 or 100 feet — suits backyard recall versus open-field tracking?

Choose 15 or 23 feet for backyard and park recall drills; step up to 50 or 100 feet for hunting, beach or wide-open tracking where maximum distance control is needed.
