6 ft Black Training Lead

The Perfect Part Dog Training Lead is a 6 ft black leash made from polypropylene and steel for obedience and recall work. It is sold as a pack of six identical leads so trainers, shelters or multi-dog households have a matching set ready for daily sessions.

Sustained outdoor use

The high-density machine stitching keeps the seam firm when a dog pulls repeatedly during long recall drills or extended hikes. Polypropylene resists water absorption and abrasion, so the lead stays supple after beach trips, muddy fields or swimming sessions.

Hardware and width limits

A steel D-ring on the handle lets you clip waste bags or a collapsible bowl without adding a separate carabiner. The fixed 3/4 inch width and 6 ft length suit close-control work but cannot replace a longer line for distance tracking or wide-open recall at 15, 23, 33, 50 or 100 ft.

Questions about this item

Does the 6 ft lead become heavy or drag after hours of outdoor training?

The 6 ft version weighs far less than the 15 ft, 23 ft, 33 ft, 50 ft or 100 ft lengths, so it stays light during all-day sessions.

What collar or harness attachment does the steel clip require?

The steel D-ring clip fits any standard collar or harness loop — no proprietary hardware is needed.

Will the 3/4 inch wide polypropylene webbing work with the metal buckle on my older leather collar?

Yes, the 3/4 inch width slides through typical metal buckles and the steel clip engages the D-ring on older collars without issue.
