Dual AGU distribution block

The Wires Zone AGUDB-2 is a gold-plated fuse holder designed for car audio power distribution. It accepts three 4-gauge inputs and provides two 8-gauge outputs for amplifiers or accessories. A heat-resistant base and clear protective cover shield the connections. The kit includes the block and five 120 Amp AGU fuses.

Capacity and headroom

Each included fuse is rated at 120 amps, giving a clear ceiling for the protected circuit. The block comfortably handles typical multi-amp installations that stay within that limit. Running combined loads above 120 amps will blow the fuse and cut power. The three-input design offers flexibility, but total draw must remain under the fuse rating.

AGU fuse standard limits

The AGU form factor tops out at the 120 amp rating supplied, so higher-current systems need a different fuse type. Gold-plated contacts reduce resistance, yet the fuse element itself remains the bottleneck. The clear cover allows visual inspection but does not increase the ampere limit. Builders planning larger upgrades must move beyond AGU hardware.

Questions about this item

Will the dual AGU fuse holder accept my existing 4-gauge power wire and 8-gauge amp leads?

The block provides three 4-gauge inputs and two 8-gauge outputs, so your current cables fit directly.

How can I confirm the 120 A fuses are intact after installation?

The clear protective cover lets you visually inspect each gold-plated fuse element without removing the block.

Does the package include both the distribution block and the fuses, or must I buy the 120 A AGU fuses separately?

The box contains one AGUDB-2 distribution block and a five-pack of 120 A gold-plated AGU fuses, so nothing extra is needed.
