A micro-tower case for mATX or mITX builds with tempered glass side panels, wood bottom trim and three pre-installed 120 mm ARGB fans
The Thermaltake View 170 WS ARGB is a micro tower chassis designed for micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards. It combines mesh and tempered glass panels with a stained wood trim along the bottom edge. Three 120 mm ARGB Lite fans are included, mounted on the side and rear for intake and exhaust. The case suits builders who want a compact footprint with open viewing angles.
Two tempered glass side panels provide wide access to the interior. The pre-installed side fans are reverse-blade units that pull air toward the motherboard, so cable routing behind the tray must leave clearance for their frames. Radiator mounting on the top supports 240 mm and 280 mm units; a 360 mm radiator is listed as an option but may conflict with motherboard heatsinks. ARGB lighting connects to a standard 5 V addressable header controlled by motherboard software.
Verify that your board is micro-ATX or mini-ITX; full-size ATX boards will not fit. Graphics cards up to 340 mm long are supported, while CPU coolers must not exceed 160 mm in height. Power supplies are limited to 180 mm in length. The case dimensions are 17.3 by 14.9 by 8.4 inches and it weighs 10.3 lbs, so confirm your workspace and transport plans accommodate that volume.

Connect each fan’s ARGB header to a compatible motherboard and use ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light or ASRock Polychrome to verify lighting and RPM readings for the two side intake fans and the single rear exhaust fan.
The chassis includes two tempered glass side panels, a stained wood bottom trim and three pre-mounted 120 mm ARGB Lite fans. Additional 120 mm fans up to seven total, radiators up to 360 mm and any CPU cooler or power supply are sold separately.
The top panel supports radiators up to 360 mm, but the manufacturer highlights 280 mm and 240 mm as the primary supported sizes; select 280 mm for a balanced fit or 360 mm only if your specific radiator and fan thickness leave enough clearance for the motherboard and memory.
