Extended desk surface

The Thermaltake Dasher Extended Mousepad Black measures 16.1 x 1.7 x 3.4 in and provides a broad, continuous area for both keyboard and mouse. Anti-fray stitching reinforces the perimeter against edge wear. A non-slip rubber base anchors the pad firmly to the desk during rapid movements. The flexible construction resists curling so the surface stays flat over time.

Practical limits of cloth pads

Cloth surfaces accumulate dust and skin oils that increase friction and degrade sensor tracking. The stitched edges delay but do not prevent eventual fraying under heavy daily use. Rubber bases can lose grip on polished or glass desks if the surface is not clean. Thickness of 1.7 in adds noticeable height that may affect wrist posture for some users.

Check your setup before ordering

Verify the 16.1 in width fits between monitor stands or desk edges without overhang. Confirm the 3.4 in depth suits your keyboard footprint and leaves room for mouse travel. Ensure the 12.55 lbs weight is acceptable for a portable or frequently repositioned setup. Clean the desk thoroughly so the rubber base achieves maximum adhesion.
