45W Universal Laptop Adapter

The LUXA2 EnerG Bar 45W is a universal AC power adapter designed for notebook computers. It delivers up to 45 watts of power through selectable 18 V DC or 20 V DC output voltages. Ten interchangeable DC tips provide broad compatibility across many laptop brands. The unit includes CE, FCC and RoHS certifications plus a UL certified power cord.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Built-in protection circuits guard against over current, over voltage, over temperature and short-circuit conditions during continuous operation. The supplier states an average energy conversion efficiency boost of up to 10 percent, which helps reduce waste heat when the adapter runs for long periods. High-quality components are specified for reliable performance under steady demand.

Pre-Purchase Checks

Verify that your laptop requires no more than 45 watts and operates at either 18 V DC or 20 V DC before ordering. Confirm the required barrel connector size matches one of the ten supplied tips. This adapter is not suitable for devices needing higher wattage, different voltage levels or proprietary connectors not covered by the included tip set.

Questions about this item

Does the adapter run hot or make noise when charging a laptop all day?

The 45 W unit includes over-temperature protection and has no moving parts, so it stays quiet and shuts down if internal heat exceeds safe limits.

What must I already have to use the 10 interchangeable tips?

You need a laptop that accepts 18 V DC or 20 V DC input and a barrel jack that matches one of the supplied tips.

Will the 18 V and 20 V outputs work with an older notebook that used a different voltage?

The adapter only provides 18 V DC or 20 V DC; if the older machine requires a different voltage it will not be compatible.
