Thermaltake 65W AC Adapter

The Thermaltake EngerG Bar PO-ULA-PC65BK-00 is a 65W AC adapter designed to power compatible laptops. It serves as a direct replacement or spare charger for users who need reliable mains power at a desk or while travelling.

Sustained 65W delivery

The unit provides a continuous 65W output to keep the laptop running and the battery charging during extended work sessions. It maintains this level without relying on short burst ratings, so performance stays consistent under steady load.

Simple barrel connection

Installation requires plugging the AC cable into the adapter and the barrel tip into the laptop power port. The main issue buyers encounter is tip compatibility, as the adapter fits only laptops that accept this specific connector and voltage.

Questions about this item

Does the 65 W EngerG Bar adapter run hot or make noise when used continuously?

The unit delivers 65 W through passive cooling with no fan, so it stays silent and warm to the touch but within normal operating limits for all-day use.

What must I already own to use this Thermaltake PO-ULA-PC65BK-00 adapter?

You need a laptop that accepts a 65 W input via the barrel connector on this adapter and a standard mains cable for the wall socket.

Will the 65 W EngerG Bar work with an older laptop that originally shipped with a lower-wattage charger?

Yes, the adapter supplies up to 65 W and the laptop draws only what it requires, so it safely powers older models that need less power.
