Replacement Battery for Dell Perc RAID Controllers

This 3.7 V 1.8 Wh battery fits Dell Perc H710 H710P H730 H810 H830 RAID controllers and compatible PowerEdge servers. It ships new with a plastic holder for direct mounting on the controller card.

Critical Spec: 3.7 V 1.8 Wh Lithium Cell

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 3.7 V 1.8 Wh rating. Controllers expecting a different voltage or capacity will not operate correctly with this module.

Plastic Holder Simplifies Installation

The bundled holder lets you secure the cell onto the RAID card without additional brackets or tools. No software or cables are included because the battery functions purely as a hardware cache-backup component.

Questions about this item

How long will the 1.8 Wh capacity keep the RAID controller cache alive during a power loss?

The 1.8 Wh cell at 3.7 V supplies enough energy to preserve the controller's write-back cache until mains power returns or the system shuts down cleanly.

What connection does the battery use to the Dell PERC H710, H710P, H730, H810 or H830 card?

It plugs directly into the controller's on-board battery header; no cables or adapters are required.

Does the included plastic holder let me mount this battery on any of the listed PowerEdge servers?

Yes, the supplied holder snaps onto the RAID card so the battery fits inside the M620, R320, R420, R520, R620, R720, R820, T110 II or T420 chassis.
