Connection Cover for B300 and B400 Raceway

The Thomas & Betts B306 cover closes the seam where two lengths of B300 Series raceway meet. It is finished in ivory metal and supplied in bulk for electrical installers running surface-mounted wiring systems. The fitting matches the B300 and B400 profiles so the trunking line stays continuous and protected. Installers fitting long straight runs use it to keep the channel enclosed at every joint.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous service the metal cover maintains the raceway’s mechanical protection and grounding path across the joint. It resists the same environmental exposure as the B300 and B400 base sections without degrading the enclosure rating. The bulk packaging supports repeated use on large projects where many connections are made over time. The cover stays secure once fitted, keeping the wireway intact for the life of the installation.

Questions about this item

Does the B306 cover generate any heat or noise when the raceway carries power all day?

The B306 is a passive metal cover; it has no electronics, so it produces no heat or noise regardless of how long the B300 or B400 raceway carries current.

Which raceway sections must I already have installed for the B306 cover to fit?

The B306 cover fits only the seam where two lengths of B300 series raceway meet; it will not work with other series or standalone.
