Thomasville Lighting 2 Inch Smart Recessed Light Kit 5W 120V RGB CCT 2700-6500K Black Trim

Smart 2-inch WiFi recessed kit

This 2-inch smart recessed light kit replaces a traditional 50-watt halogen bulb with a 5-watt LED module that delivers RGB and tunable white output from 2700K to 6500K. It connects to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network and works with Alexa and Google Home for voice and app control. The package includes the LED driver and requires no separate housing cans.

Sustained output and heat management

The aluminium and ABS construction dissipates heat efficiently so colour quality and brightness remain stable during extended use. Rated life exceeds 40,000 hours, and the driver dimensions of 2.5 by 1.2 by 0.8 inches fit most ceiling cavities without overheating. Dimming stays smooth across the full 16-million-colour range and multiple scene modes.

Upgrade path and fit

This kit fits existing 2 1/8 to 2 3/8 inch cut-outs, cutting energy use by over 85 percent compared with the halogen it replaces. It is not suited for outdoor installations or for circuits that require a 5 GHz WiFi connection. Buyers needing higher lumen output or a larger aperture should look at alternative sizes.
