TV backlight kit for 55-75 inch screens

The 16.4ft LED strip wraps around large televisions to create ambient bias lighting. RGB colour mixing produces millions of hues for gaming, streaming or general room atmosphere. Three control methods — button, 24-button IR remote and the illumi home app — let any user adjust settings without a learning curve.

USB power and indoor installation limits

The kit draws 5 watts at 5 volts from a standard USB port on the TV or a separate adapter. Premium 3M adhesive tape secures the flexible acrylic strip to clean, dry indoor surfaces only. Corner wires allow bends without extra connectors, but the corded electric design requires a nearby USB outlet.

No pure white output or screen-sync capability

Colours are mixed from the RGB diodes; a true white channel is absent, so colour-critical work should use a dedicated bias light. The system reacts to sound and music modes but does not analyse on-screen video content for real-time matching.

Questions about this item

Is the 16.4 ft length the right fit for a 55 inch TV or should I choose it for a 75 inch model?

The single 16.4 ft strip is designed to cover the full perimeter of any TV from 55 to 75 inches, so one kit works for every size in that range.

What does the 16 million color figure actually deliver once the strip is on my TV?

You get full RGB mixing for millions of blended hues, though the kit cannot produce a pure white tone; you approximate white by balancing the three color channels.

How does the USB 5 V power limit affect brightness or length?

The strip draws only 5 watts at 5 volts, so it runs safely from a TV USB port without an external adapter, and the fixed 16.4 ft length stays within that power budget.
