The motion sensor activates in dim conditions when movement is detected within a 120° angle and up to one foot away, then turns off after thirty seconds of no motion. Always-on mode delivers five to six hours at maximum brightness, while automatic mode extends runtime to twenty or thirty days with ten to twenty daily activations. Buyers who need water-resistant fixtures, hard-wired installation or colour temperatures beyond the three selectable settings should look elsewhere.

Single charge lasts twenty to thirty days

In AUTO mode the light operates for twenty to thirty days assuming ten to twenty activations per day of thirty seconds each, making battery endurance the specification that determines whether the kit matches the intended location.
