Smart lighting kit for monitors and desks

The Thomasville Lighting H6056 kit includes two RGBICWW Wi-Fi light bars designed for monitors under 45 inches. Each bar uses 18 LEDs to produce 16 million colours across a 215-degree curved surface. The 12-volt system draws 18 watts total and connects via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy. Installation is table-mount with included brackets for flat, vertical or behind-screen placement.

Thermals noise and power in daily use

The LED bars run cool at 18 watts with no moving parts, so operation is completely silent. Power comes from a low-voltage adapter that keeps the 106-inch cord manageable on a desk. FCC and UL listings confirm electrical safety for continuous indoor use. The polycarbonate housing stays cool to the touch during extended gaming or media sessions.

Build quality and connector implications

Each bar measures 20 by 22 by 22 centimetres and weighs 0.821 kilograms, giving a solid feel on the desk. The clear prismatic diffuser and white finish resist fingerprints. A single 106-inch cable links the pair to the controller, so cable routing stays simple. The one-year warranty covers the complete base kit.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the H6056 light bars behind a monitor and what step is often missed?

Use the included brackets to attach each bar behind a monitor under 45 inches; the step often missed is connecting the 106-inch power cord to a 12-volt supply before pairing in the Govee Home app.

What part of the H6056 kit will need replacement first and when?

The integrated LED light beads are rated for long life; the 1-year warranty covers defects, so no user-replaceable parts are expected during normal indoor or outdoor use.

What limits continuous operation of the H6056 light bars during extended gaming sessions?

The 18-watt power draw at 12 volts and passive cooling mean heat buildup in the polycarbonate housing is the first limit during sustained full-brightness use.
