What this light kit does

The Thomasville Lighting HS-UCL001 kit contains two 8 inch LED bars that run on built-in 1100mAh batteries. They attach to metal surfaces with integrated magnets or to wood, plastic or glass using the supplied adhesive plates. Each bar measures 8 L x 1.57 W x 0.39 H inches and weighs 0.231 kilograms. The set is intended for indoor or outdoor use where wiring is impractical.

Motion sensor and colour limits

The motion sensor activates the light automatically and the unit offers three fixed colour temperatures: 3000K warm white, 4200K natural white and 6000K cool white. Brightness is adjustable from 30% to 100% by long-pressing the touch button. In motion-sensor mode the battery lasts up to 50 days based on 10 to 20 activations per day, while continuous use runs for up to 10 hours. Recharging takes 2.5 hours via USB-C at 3.7 volts and 0.79 watts. The product is not water resistant.

Check mounting surface and charging access

Verify that the intended surface is metal for direct magnetic hold or clean and flat for the adhesive plates. Ensure a USB-C power source is available for the 2.5 hour recharge cycle. The kit includes two USB charging cables, two magnetic mounting strips and an instruction manual. The unit carries CE, RoHS, FCC and UL listings and a 12 month warranty.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the two-bar kit or a single bar?

The kit includes two 8-inch LED bars, two USB-C charging cables, magnetic strips and adhesive plates, so you can light both sides of a cabinet or separate areas at once.

What does the 1100 mAh battery deliver in daily use?

The 1100 mAh cell runs up to 10 hours continuously or about 50 days in motion-sensor mode with 10 to 20 activations per day, and recharges in 2.5 hours via USB-C.

How does the magnetic mount work on non-metal surfaces?

Strong built-in magnets hold directly to metal; for wood, plastic or glass you stick on the supplied adhesive metal plates, giving tool-free mounting anywhere.
