Solar light kit contents

The Thomasville Lighting JY2440 kit contains six solar-powered wall lights. Each unit integrates 120 LEDs behind a clear prismatic diffuser. The set is finished in black with a daylight white colour temperature. IP65-rated housings protect the electronics from water ingress.

Suitable and unsuitable scenarios

Garden, patio and yard installations that need motion-activated illumination without mains wiring suit this kit. The 270° wide angle covers broad areas. Buyers who need indoor lighting should look elsewhere because the specifications list indoor-only usage. Installations requiring constant dusk-to-dawn output without motion triggers are not supported by the three-mode design.

Deciding specification

The 960 lumen output per unit determines whether the brightness meets the project requirement. Lower-output 800 lumen variants exist in the same range, so confirming the 960 lumen figure is essential before purchase.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the JY2440 solar lights are charging and operating correctly after wall mounting?

Fully charge the units for 8 hours in direct sunlight, then test at night; the PIR sensor should trigger full brightness in Mode 1 or a dim-to-bright boost in Mode 3, while Mode 2 provides steady medium light without sensor activation.

What components are included with the 6-pack JY2440 kit and what must be purchased separately?

The pack contains six solar light units with integrated 120 LED arrays, monocrystalline panels, rechargeable batteries and wall-mount hardware; no separate batteries, wiring or transformers are required.

Which JY2440 version should I choose for the highest lumen output in a 6-pack configuration?

Select the Front Button 6Pack listed at 960 lumen; other pack sizes such as the 2-pack are rated at 800 lumen, so the 6-pack delivers the brightest output per unit.
