Wireless Magnetic Light Kit

The Thomasville Lighting W52XD05 is a rechargeable LED ceiling light that mounts without wiring using a magnetic back plate and included adhesive tape or screws. It suits renters, homeowners and anyone needing instant illumination in closets, hallways, showers or covered outdoor areas where running cable is impractical.

Pre-Installation Checks

Verify the mounting surface is clean, dry and flat so the double-sided tape or magnetic attachment holds securely on metal, plaster or wood. Confirm the 7.5 inch diameter fits the intended location and that a USB charging cable is available for the 6000mAh battery, which requires periodic removal for recharging.

Sustained Operation Behaviour

In motion-sensor mode the light runs for one to two months per charge, while constant-on use lasts seven to thirteen hours depending on the selected brightness level. The 0.6 inch ultra-thin acrylic body dissipates heat passively during extended use, and the IP-rated water-resistant finish maintains performance in humid environments such as bathrooms.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Thomasville Lighting W52XD05 and what must be purchased separately?

The kit includes the light unit with built-in magnets, a magnetic back plate with double-sided tape, screws for wall mounting, and a remote control. No separate batteries or wiring are required because the 6000mAh battery is built in and rechargeable.

Which version of the W52XD05 should I choose for a closet versus a hallway?

The product is sold as a single 1-pack with a 7.5-inch square, 0.6-inch thick white acrylic housing. There are no alternative capacities or finishes listed, so the same unit serves both spaces.

How long does the 6000mAh battery last in motion-sensor mode once the light is installed?

In sensor mode the light runs for 1 to 2 months on a full charge; in constant-on mode it lasts 7 to 13 hours depending on the brightness level selected.
