Versatile Studio Microphone Kit

The Thronmax MDrill One Jet Black Studio Kit is a USB condenser microphone built for streamers, podcasters and home-studio creators who need flexible polar-pattern selection without extra hardware. Three condenser capsules capture 16-bit/48kHz audio directly to a computer, and the package includes a stable tabletop mount plus adapters for boom-arm integration.

Silent Desktop Operation

The microphone draws power from the USB connection so no external supply is required, and its solid-state design means there are no moving parts to generate noise during normal recording sessions. On-board gain and headphone-volume controls let you set levels instantly, keeping the signal chain short and the desk environment quiet.

Consistent Capture During Long Sessions

VERTIGAIN technology guides sound waves vertically to the three capsules, reducing mesh scattering and maintaining clarity across extended takes. Four dedicated modes — Cardioid, Stereo, Bi-Directional and Omni-Directional — are selected with a single button press, so the pickup pattern stays locked to the chosen setting for the full duration of a stream, interview or multi-hour recording.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the MDrill One on a boom arm using the included adapters?

Thread the supplied adapters onto the boom arm first, then attach the microphone to the tabletop mount before securing it to the adapters.

When will the USB cable need replacement on the MDrill One?

Replace the USB cable if the connector becomes loose or the cable sheath shows fraying that causes intermittent audio dropouts.

At what sample rate does the MDrill One hit its resolution ceiling during long sessions?

The 16-bit/48kHz sample rate is the fixed ceiling; sustained use cannot exceed this resolution.
