ThruNite BSS V6 2000 Lumens EDC Flashlight

The ThruNite BSS V6 is a compact USB-C rechargeable flashlight built for everyday carry, hiking, camping and emergency preparedness. It delivers a maximum 2000 lumen output with a 259 meter throw distance. Dual-switch operation provides both momentary tactical activation and one-handed mode cycling through six brightness levels.

Sustained Output and Runtime Behaviour

Turbo mode produces 2000 lumens for short bursts before temperature control reduces output to protect the LED. Lower modes extend runtime significantly, with Firefly at 0.5 lumens reaching up to 41 days on a single charge. Mode memory restarts the light at the last-used brightness, avoiding accidental high-power starts.

Aluminium Build, USB-C Charging and Mounting

A durable aluminium body with removable stainless steel head ring resists roll and allows accessory attachment. The sealed USB-C port accepts standard phone cables or power banks for direct charging without removing the cell. A three-level power indicator shows remaining capacity, while the included holster offers secure belt or pack carry.

Questions about this item

Does the 2000-lumen turbo mode cause the light to get hot or reduce output after extended use?

The flashlight includes temperature control that manages heat during high-output operation, and the aluminum body helps dissipate warmth during long sessions.

What power source must I already have to recharge the built-in USB-C port?

Any standard USB-C cable and a 5 V power source such as a phone charger, power bank, or car charger will recharge the internal lithium-ion cell.

Will the 259-meter throw distance work well with older ThruNite holsters or mounts I already own?

The cylindrical 5.7-inch body fits the included holster and most standard 1-inch mounts, so existing carry gear remains compatible.
