USB adapter for T3PA pedal sets

The Thrustmaster 4060079 TR J12 USB Adapter connects T3PA and T3PA-Pro three-pedal sets to a PC via USB. It provides 10-bit resolution across all three axes, delivering 1024 values per pedal for precise input. Downloadable drivers and calibration software complete the setup.

For sim racers adding pedals to an existing wheel

This adapter suits owners of compatible Thrustmaster pedal sets who want direct USB connectivity on PC without a wheel base. It does not support console platforms or pedal sets from other manufacturers. Buyers without a T3PA or T3PA-Pro unit will need a different solution.

Bundled software enables calibration

The downloadable PC driver allows the operating system to recognise the pedals as a standard USB device. The advanced calibration software lets users adjust dead zones, sensitivity and pedal curves per axis. These tools turn the hardware connection into a configurable control input.

Questions about this item

Do I need to own a Thrustmaster T3PA or T3PA-Pro pedal set for this 4060079 adapter to work?

Yes, the adapter is designed specifically to connect T3PA and T3PA-Pro 3-pedal sets to a PC via USB.

Can I keep using my existing racing wheel from another brand while adding these pedals through the adapter?

The adapter makes the pedals appear as a separate USB device, so they work alongside most racing wheels on the market.

How can I verify the 10-bit resolution is active after installing the driver and calibration software?

The calibration software displays input values up to 1024 for each of the three pedal axes, confirming the precision.
