Thunderobot KG5104 Cherry MX Red Mechanical Keyboard

The Thunderobot KG5104 is a full-size wired gaming keyboard built around Cherry MX Red linear switches. It features 104 keys with N-key rollover, ten lighting modes with blue breathing effects, and double-shot ABS keycaps. A detachable 1.8 m USB cable connects the 980 g board to Windows or macOS systems.

Gamers who want linear switches

The Cherry MX Red switch suits players who prefer a smooth keystroke without tactile bump or audible click. Ten programmable lighting modes and macro support let users customise the look and feel. Buyers who need tactile feedback, wireless freedom, or a compact tenkeyless layout should look elsewhere.

104-key layout with macro capacity for complex binds

The full 104-key arrangement provides dedicated function, navigation and numeric sections for games that use extensive key maps. N-key rollover registers every simultaneous press without ghosting. The board has no onboard memory profiles, so macros and lighting settings reset when moved between computers.

Questions about this item

Does the Thunderobot KG5104 need a free USB port on my computer?

Yes, it connects through a wired USB cable that is 1.8 m long.

Will the Cherry MX Red switches feel different from the membrane board I am replacing?

Cherry MX Red switches are linear and lighter to press, so keystrokes feel smoother and quieter than a typical membrane keyboard.

How can I check that N-key rollover is active after I plug it in?

Press several keys at once; if every key registers in a text editor or the OS keyboard test, N-key rollover is working.
