Radiant 16 gaming laptop

The Thunderobot Radiant 16 is a 16.0 inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i9-14900HX processor with 24 cores and 32 threads. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU and 16GB of DDR5 memory. The system ships with Windows 11 Home and a 1TB PCIe SSD for fast load times.

300Hz QHD+ display and port layout

The 16 inch panel delivers a 2560 x 1600 resolution at a 300 Hz refresh rate for smooth motion in competitive titles. Connectivity includes three Superspeed USB Type-A ports, one Superspeed USB Type-C port, HDMI, RJ-45 Ethernet, an audio jack, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth. A backlit keyboard with numeric keypad and a webcam complete the daily workflow.

Upgrade from 60Hz or lower-tier GPU

The 300 Hz panel and RTX 5060 combination replaces older 60 Hz screens and entry-level graphics for noticeably sharper frame pacing. The i9-14900HX with 36MB L3 cache and up to 5.8 GHz turbo handles heavy multitasking that lesser CPUs cannot. The jump is worth it when you need high refresh rates and strong multi-threaded performance in one chassis.

Questions about this item

What USB speeds do the three Type-A and one Type-C ports actually deliver?

All four Superspeed ports run at USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s) so external SSDs, docks or high-refresh monitors hit that ceiling in practice.

What are the exact chassis dimensions and weight for backpack fit?

The grey chassis measures 14.09 × 10 × 0.82 inches and weighs 4.62 lbs, so it slides into most 16-inch sleeves without forcing the zip.

How do I add a second DDR5 stick without bending the retention clips?

Power off, remove the bottom panel, align the notch on the DDR5 module with the slot key, press down evenly until both side clips snap shut automatically.
