Ticonderoga 13953 Wood-Cased Pencils #2 HB Soft Black 12 Count

Everyday Writing Essentials

Ticonderoga 13953 pencils use a proprietary #2 graphite formula for smooth, consistent lines on paper. The 12-count pack supplies enough for daily classroom or office tasks. Each pencil features a latex-free eraser that removes marks cleanly without smudging. PMA certified non-toxic materials make them safe for children and adults alike.

Upgrade From Basic Pencils

These pencils replace low-quality options that break often or sharpen unevenly. Premium wood from responsibly managed forests ensures smooth sharpening with minimal breakage. The jump is worth it when you need reliable performance for standardised tests or extended writing sessions. Black lacquered finish adds a coated matte feel that resists slipping during use.

Capacity And Headroom

A single pencil can write up to 45000 words before needing replacement. The 12-count case handles weeks of regular homework, note-taking or creative sketching. Thick graphite cores deliver broad lines suited for standard #2 requirements. They run out when heavy pressure or specialised art techniques demand harder or softer graphite grades not offered here.
