Professional Light Control
The Tiffen 6.6x6.6" Water White Glass ND1.5 5-Stop Filter is a camera accessory built for precise exposure management. It reduces incoming light by five stops, enabling wider apertures or slower shutter speeds in bright conditions. Crafted from Water White glass with ColorCore technology, the filter material is laminated between optical glass and ground to exact flatness for exceptional clarity and color fidelity.
Cinematographers Needing Consistent Density
This filter suits professionals who require accurate neutral density performance across large-format matte boxes. The 6.6x6.6" size matches standard cinema filter trays used in high-end production. Buyers working with smaller screw-in filter threads or compact mirrorless systems should look at alternative formats, as this square filter requires a compatible holder system.
Integrates With Matte Box Workflows
The 6.6x6.6" dimensions fit industry-standard matte boxes found on cinema camera builds. Its scratch-resistant Water White glass construction withstands frequent handling on set while maintaining optical precision. The neutral density effect frees up aperture and shutter choices without introducing color shifts, leaving the rest of the optical path unaffected.
