Timken Flange Bearing 4-Bolt Ball 1-7/16" Bore SCJ

4-Bolt Flange Bearing for 1-7/16" Shafts

This Timken SCJ series unit mounts a 52100 chrome-steel ball insert inside a cast-iron housing. The four-bolt pattern on a 3 5/8 inch centre spacing suits industrial machinery, conveyor lines and agricultural equipment that run on standard imperial shafts.

Cast-iron housing with set-screw locking

The grey cast-iron body measures 1 1/2 inch overall height and 4 5/8 inch square across the flange. A 1/2 inch bolt size secures the unit while the set-screw collar locks the inner ring to the shaft without additional adapters or special tools.

Lubrication and temperature limits

The bearing ships packed with Mobil Polyrex EM grease, an NLGI #2 equivalent, and operates from -65 °F to 200 °F. Dynamic capacity is 6,400 lb and static capacity is 3,400 lb, so applications exceeding those loads or requiring continuous operation beyond the temperature range need a different bearing solution.
