Verify bore diameter and mount pattern before

The bearing accepts a cylindrical bore of 5/8 in and uses a two-hole bolt-through pattern with a centre-to-centre length of 3 5/8 in. Base height measures .468 in while overall height reaches 2.218 in and overall length 4.859 in. Confirm these dimensions match the intended display or mounting surface.

Double-sealed insert handles sustained temperature

The radial ball insert is double sealed and lubricated with an NGLI #2 equivalent grease. It is rated for continuous operation from -65 Degrees F up to 200 Degrees F. Alloy steel construction supports long-term load carrying without frequent re-lubrication.

Questions about this item

What comes with the Timken SAS 5/8 pillow block bearing and what must be purchased separately?

The unit includes the cast-iron housing, alloy-steel radial ball insert with double seals, and NGLI #2 equivalent lubricant. Mounting bolts are not supplied.

Which version of the SAS 5/8 bearing should I choose for my shaft?

Select this model when your shaft is exactly 5/8 in cylindrical and you need a bolt-through, two-hole base with 3 5/8 in centre spacing.

What does the 200 °F maximum temperature mean once the bearing is installed?

It is the highest continuous operating temperature the lubricant and seals can withstand; above that the grease may degrade and the seals can fail.
