Timken VCJT 7/8 Rhombus Flange Bearing

This new Timken VCJT bearing is a collectible radial ball unit with a 7/8 in cylindrical bore and a two-hole rhombus cast iron housing. It suits enthusiasts who value industrial components as display pieces or light-duty demonstration items.

Verify bore size and mounting pattern before

Confirm that your shaft measures 7/8 in and that the two mounting holes on the rhombus flange align with your frame. The fixed expansion type and double-sealed closure mean the unit does not accommodate axial float or relubrication.

Replaces worn two-bolt flange units in similar

The jump is worthwhile when an existing 7/8 in bore flange bearing shows seal wear or housing damage and the same bolt centres and overall height match. Collectors seeking a new-old-stock Timken example will also appreciate the original NLGI #2 equivalent lubricant.

Questions about this item

Does the VCJT 7/8 bearing arrive with the GRA014RRB insert already fitted, or must I order the insert separately?

The GRA014RRB radial ball insert is included inside the cast-iron rhombus housing, so no separate insert purchase is needed.

Should I choose the 7/8 in bore version or look for a different bore size for my shaft?

Select the 7/8 in bore when your shaft measures exactly 7/8 in; other bore sizes are separate part numbers not covered by this listing.

Will the 6,300 RPM rating hold up in a high-speed conveyor running near the 200 °F limit?

The bearing is rated for 6,300 RPM at temperatures up to 200 °F; running continuously at both limits reduces grease life, so monitor temperature and relubricate per schedule.
