Flame-Resistant PVC Bib Overall
The Tingley O41008 is a flame-resistant rain bib overall made from PVC with a polyester lining. It meets ASTM D6413 for flame resistance and carries California Proposition 65 warnings for cancer and reproductive harm. The garment is sized Large Regular with a 30 in inseam and fits waists from 40 in to 42 in. It is designed for men who need wet-weather protection with an FR rating.
11 oz Fabric Weight and 17 mil Thickness
The 11 oz PVC shell and 17 mil thickness provide a substantial barrier against rain while the polyester lining adds a layer of comfort against the skin. The material is not insulated for cold conditions so thermal management depends on the layers worn underneath. Snap fly closure allows quick ventilation adjustments during active work. No high-visibility rating or ANSI class is assigned to this model.
Open Ankle Design and Snap Closures
Open ankles let the bib overall pull on over work boots without zippers or elastic that can snag or wear out. The snap fly closure is simple to operate with gloved hands and holds securely through movement. Zero inside or outside pockets keep the exterior smooth for easy decontamination or wipe-down. Green colour and men's Regular cut suit general industrial crews needing identifiable FR rain gear.

Questions about this item
How do I put the bib overall on and which snap step is often missed?
Step into the legs, pull the bib up, fasten each side snap at the waist, then secure the centre chest snap that many users forget.
What part will wear out first and need replacement?
The 17 mil PVC shell and polyester lining resist abrasion, but the snap fasteners can fatigue after repeated opening and closing.
At what point does the garment stop protecting against flame during continuous exposure?
The PVC meets ASTM D6413 flame resistance, yet prolonged direct flame or extreme heat will eventually degrade the 11 oz fabric.
