What it is

SpeedRunners is a casual multiplayer racing game published by tinyBuild LLC and developed by DoubleDutch Games. It is delivered as a Steam downloadable code for PC and released on 18 April 2016. The game targets players who enjoy fast-paced competitive platforming in short sessions.

Installation and common issues

Activation requires a free third-party Steam account and a broadband internet connection. The download occupies roughly 800 MB of storage. The most frequent problem is attempting to redeem the code without an existing Steam client installed or while offline.

Capacity and headroom

The minimum specification calls for a 1 GHz processor, 3 GB RAM and a dedicated video card on Windows XP or newer. These modest requirements mean the game runs comfortably on very old hardware. It runs out of headroom when the system lacks a discrete GPU or falls below the memory threshold.
