Purpose & Audience

The TKGOU DM2-ZK is a USB condenser microphone designed for conference calls, podcast recording, streaming and online chat. It suits remote workers, students and content creators who need clear voice capture without installing drivers. It is not a speaker or speakerphone, so buyers who want audio playback or a combined headset should look elsewhere.

Deciding Specification

The microphone connects via a single USB port and requires no drivers for Windows or Mac, offering true plug-and-play operation. A built-in LED indicator shows status with blue for active and no light for mute. The device is not compatible with Raspberry Pi, Linux, Android or Xbox, so buyers on those platforms cannot use it.

Thermals Noise Power

As a bus-powered USB condenser microphone, it draws minimal power from the host computer and produces no audible fan noise. The condenser capsule provides an 80 decibel signal-to-noise ratio for clean voice pickup. The compact body measures 2.75 inches in radius and 0.59 inches thick, weighing 0.26 lb with a 78 inch cable.

Questions about this item

How does the 80 dB signal-to-noise ratio affect real-world recordings?

An 80 dB SNR means background hiss stays well below spoken dialogue, so voices come through cleanly on calls and streams without audible noise floor.

What does the USB plug-and-play connection cap in practice?

The USB interface delivers driver-free audio on Windows and Mac, but it will not work with Raspberry Pi, Linux, Android or Xbox consoles.

What desk space and mounting clearance does the 7 cm radius and 15 mm thickness require?

The compact body needs only a 7 cm radius footprint and 15 mm height, while the 78 inch cable reaches across most desks without strain.
