Heat-resistant silicone mitts

This four-pack of green silicone oven mitts is designed for home cooks and grill enthusiasts who need reliable hand protection when handling hot cookware. Each mitt combines a heat-resistant silicone exterior with a thick polyester cotton lining for comfort and insulation.

550F rating and everyday headroom

The mitts are rated to withstand temperatures up to 550F, providing a wide safety margin for typical baking, roasting and barbecue tasks. They comfortably handle hot plates, pots and grill tools, though prolonged direct contact with surfaces at the upper limit will eventually transfer heat to the inner lining.

Silicone material limits

The silicone shell is fully waterproof and can be cleaned by hand or in a washing machine, but it is not resistant to open flames or sharp edges that could puncture the surface. The non-slip texture improves grip on dry or wet handles, yet it does not compensate for reduced dexterity when manipulating very small or slippery items.

Questions about this item

Will these mitts protect my hands when I pull a 550F tray from the oven?

The outer silicone layer is rated to 550F, so it blocks the heat from a tray at that temperature while the thick polyester-cotton lining keeps the inside comfortable.

How can I check the non-slip grip is working before I lift a heavy roasting pan?

Press your fingers against the textured silicone palm; the raised pattern should feel tacky and hold a smooth metal handle without sliding.

What comes in the 4-pack and do I need separate pot holders?

The pack contains two pairs of five-finger mitts in green and white; each mitt acts as a pot holder, so no extra pieces are required.
