Compact Cassette Player-Recorder

The TOMASHI F-119F-318F is a portable cassette player and recorder designed for personal listening and voice capture. Its lightweight frame at 0.33 pounds and compact 120mm by 38mm by 87mm profile makes it easy to carry for language learning or music playback on the go.

Mechanical Tape Operation Limits

Playback and recording rely entirely on the physical cassette mechanism, so speed consistency depends on motor condition and tape quality. The automatic stop system halts transport at tape end to protect the pinch roller, but the unit has no digital timing, speed calibration or electronic wow-and-flutter correction.

Dual Power Without Included Sources

Operation requires two AA batteries or an external USB power supply, neither of which are included in the box. Users must source their own cells or a compatible USB adaptor before the recorder can function, and the manufacturer advises removing batteries when USB power is used.
