No power draw and silent operation

The device has no electrical components so it consumes no electricity and produces no operating noise. It relies entirely on a spring mechanism that activates only when triggered. There are no thermal considerations because the trap generates no heat during normal use.

Questions about this item

How do I set the Tomcat 33528 wooden rat trap correctly?

Pull the metal kill bar back firmly until it locks under the trigger hook, apply bait to the pedal, and place the trap perpendicular to walls with the trigger end facing the baseboard.

What part of the Tomcat 33528 trap needs replacing after a catch?

The wooden base and metal mechanism are reusable; simply remove the rodent, re-bait the trigger pedal, and reset the kill bar for the next use.
