Compatible high-capacity toner

This TonerMarketPlace cartridge replaces the Xerox 106R02228 and fits the Phaser 6600 and WorkCentre 6605 printers. It is manufactured new with all new components including OPC drum, wiper blade and smart chip. The cartridge is an aftermarket alternative to the original Xerox supply.

Capacity and yield

The high-capacity 106R02228 replaces the lower-yield 106R02244 toner for extended print runs. It is engineered to meet or exceed OEM yield standards for the 106R02228. Buyers who need the lower-yield 106R02244 cartridge should select that model instead.

Thermals and power in use

As a toner cartridge it has no active cooling, fan or power draw of its own. Heat and noise come only from the printer during operation. The cartridge adds no extra thermal load or acoustic output beyond normal printing.

Questions about this item

Will the 106R02228 cartridge work in my Phaser 6600 alongside the remaining colour cartridges?

Yes, the 106R02228 is designed for the Phaser 6600 and WorkCentre 6605 and replaces the original black cartridge while the other colours stay in place.

How can I confirm the 106R02228 is recognised and printing correctly after installation?

The built-in smart chip communicates with the Phaser 6600 or WorkCentre 6605 so the printer shows accurate toner levels and prints without error messages.

Does the 106R02228 box include a drum unit or waste container, or must they be ordered separately?

The cartridge is manufactured 100% brand new with OPC drum, wiper blade and smart chip already installed; no separate drum or waste container is required.
