Scale and subject

This 1/18 scale resin model replicates the BMW M Hybrid V8 GTP #25 driven by Connor De Phillippi, Maxime Martin, Rene Rast and Nick Yelloly for BMW M Team RLL at the 2024 24 Hours of Daytona. It is an officially licensed collectible aimed at adult hobbyists and motorsport enthusiasts.

Detailing and presentation

Real rubber tyres and a fully detailed interior and exterior deliver true-to-scale accuracy without any opening parts. The model arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging, preserving its brand-new condition for display or collection purposes.

Display and handling considerations

The resin construction means the piece is fixed and non-articulated, so it cannot be posed or opened for internal inspection. Buyers should verify that a 10.75 by 4.25 by 2.75 inch footprint fits their intended shelf or cabinet space before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will the resin body or rubber tyres need any special care to stop them degrading over time?

The model is made of resin with real rubber tyres and has no openings, so it only needs occasional dusting with a soft brush; avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperature changes to keep the materials stable.

What is the first limitation you hit when displaying this 1/18 scale model continuously?

At 10.75 inches long, 4.25 inches wide and 2.75 inches high, the model requires a shelf deep enough to hold it securely; the fixed resin construction means no moving parts can wear out.

Does the model generate any heat or noise when left on display all day?

As a static resin collectible with no electronics, motor or lighting, it produces no heat and makes no sound regardless of how long it remains on display.
