This 90 W USB-C charger replaces the original Dell AC adapter for XPS, Latitude, Precision and Chromebook models. It accepts 100-240 V input at 50/60 Hz and delivers selectable outputs of 5 V/3 A, 9 V/3 A, 12 V/3 A, 15 V/3 A and 20 V/4.5 A. The unit ships with a 1.5 m AC cable and a 1.8 m DC cable.

Installation notes

Plug the AC cable into mains power and connect the USB-C tip to the laptop; no drivers or configuration are required. The barrel-style DC connector on earlier Dell models will not fit this Type-C tip, so verify the port shape before ordering. Cable routing is straightforward thanks to the generous 1.8 m DC lead.

Output profile decides fit

The charger’s maximum 20 V/4.5 A (90 W) output covers Dell parts such as 02CR08, 0TDK33, LA90PM170 and DA90PM170. Buyers whose laptop demands more than 90 W or uses a legacy barrel connector cannot use this adapter.
