Legal-Size Top-Tab File Guides

These pre-printed top-tab guides are made from 25 pt. gray pressboard and cut in a 1/5 tab format. They measure 8.5 x 14 inches to fit legal-size folders and come in a set of 25 with assorted tab positions for alphabetic indexing.

Replaces Hand-Labelled Dividers

The ready-printed A-Z tabs remove the need to write or stick labels on each divider, saving time when setting up new filing systems. The jump is worth it when a legal-size drawer or shelf must be organised quickly and the same categories are used repeatedly.

Pressboard Holds Up Under Daily Filing

The 25 pt. pressboard resists edge wear and tab tearing when guides are pulled and refiled many times a day. Gray stock masks handling marks so the set stays legible through sustained office use.

Questions about this item

Will these 8.5 by 14 inch guides fit a standard legal-size filing cabinet?

Yes, the guides are cut for legal-size cards or sheets measuring 8.5 by 14 inches.

How do I attach the preprinted tabs to the pressboard guides without misaligning them?

The tabs are already printed on the pressboard itself, so there is no separate attachment step to get wrong.

When will the 25-point pressboard or the printed tabs need replacing under daily office use?

The 25 pt. pressboard construction resists edge wear, and the self tabs do not peel, so replacement is rarely needed.
