Capacity and purpose

The topzee TGK-17 is a 1.7-litre glass electric kettle designed for households that need hot water for several cups at once. Its 1500-watt concealed element suits daily tea, coffee and instant meals without requiring a commercial-grade appliance.

Temperature precision

Six preset temperatures at 160°F, 175°F, 185°F, 195°F, 200°F and 212°F let you match the water to delicate teas, green tea, black tea, oolong or coffee with one touch. A Strix thermostat monitors the heat so the selected temperature is reached accurately.

Sustained operation

The kettle keeps water at the chosen temperature for up to 60 minutes and remembers the setting for two minutes if lifted from the base. Auto shut-off and dry-boil protection engage when the cycle finishes or the level drops too low, preventing the element from running without water.
