Slim 4" Recessed LED Kit

This four-pack of ultra-thin 4-inch LED downlights suits remodelers and new-build projects where ceiling depth is limited. Each fixture draws 10 watts while delivering 700 lumens of 4000K cool-white light with a CRI above 80. The integrated J-box and spring clips allow direct mounting without a separate housing can. ETL listing and Energy Star certification confirm safety and efficiency standards.

Check Ceiling Depth And Dimmer

Verify that the ceiling material is no thicker than .59 inch so the spring clips can secure the panel. Confirm the supply voltage falls within the 100-130V range and that the existing dimmer supports a 5%-100% dimming curve for smooth operation. The IC rating permits direct contact with insulation, but the installer must still follow local code for recessed fixtures. No additional housing or can is required.

Fits Tight Plenums And Frees Wiring Space

The 2-inch clearance requirement lets the light sit in shallow joist bays where traditional cans cannot fit. The built-in J-box with male/female connectors eliminates the need for a separate junction box, reducing parts and labour. Dimmable output from 5% to 100% adapts the same fixture to hallways, kitchens, closets or basements without swapping hardware. The 54,000-hour rated lifespan reduces re-lamp frequency in hard-to-reach locations.

Questions about this item

What comes in the 4-pack and do I need a separate housing can?

The pack contains four 10 W ultra-thin LED panels, each with an attached junction box and spring clips. No separate housing can is required; only 2 inches of ceiling clearance is needed.

Should I choose the 4000 K cool white version or look for a different colour temperature?

This model is offered only in 4000 K cool white with a CRI above 80. If you prefer warm white or daylight tones you would need a different product.

What does the 700 lm rating mean once the light is installed in my ceiling?

Each 10 W panel delivers 700 lm, matching the output of an 80 W incandescent while drawing far less power, and dims smoothly from 100 % down to 5 %.
