Solar Gutter Light Kit

This two-piece kit provides solar-powered illumination for gutters, fences and walls. Each unit contains three LEDs producing a cool white output of 6500 to 7000 K and 30 lm. The lights are designed for homeowners who want automatic dusk-to-dawn lighting without wiring. They suit pathways, decks, patios and similar outdoor areas.

Mounting Compatibility Check

Verify that your gutter, shed or fence edge accepts a bracket width of 11/16 in before ordering. The alternative screw-mount option requires a solid wood stud or wall surface for the supplied long screws. Ensure the chosen location receives enough direct sunlight to charge the 1.2 V 1300 mAh Ni-MH battery during the day. No external wiring or transformer is needed.

Build Quality And Daily Use

The ABS shell resists water splash and dust for outdoor durability. LEDs are rated for a 30000-hour service life with low power consumption. A built-in sensor activates the light automatically at dusk, while an on/off switch under the panel allows manual control. Average run time reaches up to 10 hours after a full charge. Overall dimensions are 12 x 12 x 6 cm.

Questions about this item

What comes in the 2-piece solar gutter light pack and is any mounting hardware included?

The pack contains two solar gutter lights, each with three 10 mm LEDs, a 1.2 V 1300 mAh AA Ni-MH battery, and brackets sized for 11/16" gutters plus long screws for wall or wood-stud mounting.

Should I choose the 30 lm cool-white version or a different brightness for pathway marking?

At 30 lm and 6500-7000 K cool white, these lights are designed for accent and decorative marking rather than bright pathway illumination; select them when subtle guidance light is sufficient.

What does the 8-to-10-hour run-time claim mean once the lights are installed on my gutter?

After a full day of sun the 1300 mAh battery powers the 3 LEDs for an average of 8 to 10 hours, so the lights typically stay on from dusk through most of the night before fading.
