Genuine Replacement Lamp

The Toshiba TDP-SC35U is a new 180W UHP projector lamp module supplied with bulb and housing fully assembled. It is designed for owners of compatible Toshiba projectors who need a direct replacement when the original lamp reaches end of life. The module delivers 2,000 hours in normal mode or 3,000 hours in economy mode. Installation requires no separate bulb handling.

Check Projector Compatibility

Before ordering, confirm that your projector model accepts the TDP-SC35U part, also referenced as TLPLV7. Verify the existing lamp wattage matches 180W and that the housing format is identical to the unit being removed. Ensure the projector’s lamp timer can be reset after installation to track the new module’s rated hours accurately. Cross-reference your device manual for the exact part number.

Restores Original Brightness

This lamp replaces a dim or expired original module and restores the projector’s factory brightness and colour performance. The jump is worth it when the current lamp has exceeded its rated hours, shows noticeable brightness loss, or triggers a replacement warning. Available OEM versions come from Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita, all built to ISO9001 standards. A compatible third-party version using genuine OEM parts is also offered.

Questions about this item

Does the Toshiba TDP-SC35U lamp arrive as a complete module or do I need to buy a separate housing?

The product is a fully assembled module that includes a new 180W UHP bulb already fitted inside its housing, so no extra parts are required for installation.

Which of the available versions of the TDP-SC35U should I choose?

Four versions are offered: the original bulb-maker OEM lamp, the same lamp sold under the Toshiba brand, an alternative OEM lamp from a different bulb manufacturer, and a lower-cost compatible lamp built with genuine OEM parts by a leading third-party maker.

What do the 2,000-hour and 3,000-hour ratings mean for everyday use?

In normal mode the lamp is rated for 2,000 hours and in economy mode for 3,000 hours; actual runtime will vary with projector settings, ambient temperature and how often the unit is power-cycled.
