Direct-fit replacement for Toshiba projectors

This genuine-compatible lamp module fits Toshiba projectors that use the TLP-250 designation and ships with a new 150 W UHP bulb already seated in its housing. It is intended for owners who need a ready-to-install light source without sourcing a bare bulb and cage separately.

Fixed 2 000-hour rated life at 150 watts

The lamp is rated for 2 000 hours of operation at its specified 150 W power draw, so brightness will gradually decline as that limit is approached. Projectors that demand higher wattage or a different ignition voltage cannot use this module, and no alternative brightness modes are offered by the lamp itself.

Pre-assembled housing enables tool-free swap

Because the bulb comes factory-mounted in the correct cage, installation typically requires only opening the projector's lamp door, releasing the old module and sliding this one into place. The most common issue is forgetting to reset the projector's internal hour counter after replacement, which leaves the replacement warning active even though the new lamp is operating normally.

Questions about this item

Which TLP-250 lamp version should I choose for my projector?

We stock three OEM versions — the original bulb manufacturer's lamp, the Toshiba-sold unit and an alternative OEM source — plus a compatible version built with genuine OEM parts. All meet ISO9001 quality checks.

What does the 2,000-hour rating mean for daily use?

At 150W UHP output the lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of operation; typical office use of four hours a day gives roughly two years before replacement.

Does the TLPL55 module fit straight into my Toshiba projector without extra parts?

Yes, the TLPL55 arrives as a complete bulb-and-housing assembly designed for direct installation in compatible Toshiba projectors.
