Ready-to-install projector lamp

The Toshiba TLP-250E module ships as a complete assembly with a new Philips UHP 150W bulb already seated in its housing, so it fits directly into compatible Toshiba projectors without extra tools. It is rated for 2000 hours of operation and built to ISO9001 quality standards.

Check projector model and lamp code

Before ordering, confirm that your Toshiba projector lists the TLP-250E or TLPL55 lamp code in its service manual or on the existing module label. The supplier notes that several OEM and compatible versions exist, so matching the exact part number avoids fitment issues.

Thermals, noise and power draw

The 150W UHP lamp draws its rated power during normal projection and reaches typical high-intensity discharge temperatures, requiring the projector’s original cooling system to manage heat and fan noise. No additional power or thermal provision beyond the manufacturer’s design is needed.

Questions about this item

Does the TLP-250E lamp module arrive fully assembled or must I fit the Philips UHP bulb into the housing myself?

The module is supplied as a complete unit with the 150 W Philips UHP bulb already mounted in the housing, so no separate installation of the bulb is required.

What are the four TLP-250E versions offered and how do I pick one?

Three are OEM variants — direct from the original bulb maker, from Toshiba, or from another OEM bulb supplier — and one is a compatible version built with genuine OEM parts; choose by budget and preference for original-manufacturer sourcing.

What does the 2,000-hour rating mean for daily use of the 150 W lamp?

The lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of operation; actual lifespan varies with usage patterns, power cycles and projector ventilation.
